Where can I get the legal forms to file to “legitamate a child” for visition rights in Augusta Georgia.

My son has already done a DNA test, his name is on the birth certificate and he has an active child support order. He and his child mother were never married. But he is being told that in order to have visitation rights he has to file forms with the court to “legitimate his child”. Which I think is crazy. If the DNA test shows he is the father, doesn’t that legitimate the child? It was enough for the child support order to be issued. Why weren’t he given visitation rights when he was order to pay child support? He can not afford an attorney so we are trying to do this ourselves.
